SSFC Foundation

Get involved

The Foundation is only as strong as the people behind it: the coaches, the volunteers, the participants, and the partners who believe in what we're building. Find out how you can be part of it.

Volunteer with us

Spare some time and make a real difference

Our volunteers are central to everything we do. From supporting coaching sessions to helping at community events, there are lots of ways to give your time and develop new skills while making a real difference in South Tyneside.

We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you have an afternoon a week or a full day a month, we’ll find a role that suits you.

What we look for:

  • Enthusiasm and reliability
  • A genuine interest in the community and people
  • An understanding of safeguarding (training provided)
  • Any relevant skills or qualifications are a bonus but never a requirement

Sounds like something you could be a part of? We can’t wait to hear from you.

Work with us

Partners in purpose

We work with a wide range of organisations, including local authorities, NHS trusts, schools, businesses, and other charities, to commission and co-deliver programmes across South Tyneside.

If you’re looking for a trusted, proven delivery partner with a track record of measurable social impact, we’d love to talk. We can design bespoke programmes around your outcomes or adapt our existing offer to meet your needs.

  • Programme commissioning (NHS, local authority, schools)
  • Corporate social responsibility & staff volunteering
  • Sponsorship of specific programmes or events
  • Joint bids and funding applications
  • In-kind support (venues, equipment, expertise)
